What Information Does Farideh.com Collect?

Farideh.com collects your name and email in the sign-up form when you sign up to receive a free planner or an email newsletter.

When you purchase a Program via Farideh.com, this site collects your name, email address, and billing address. Your credit card number is directly passed through to Farideh.com’s credit card processor Gumroad and Farideh.com has access to only the last four digits of your credit card.

Farideh.com collects non-identifiable personal information using “cookies” as you use this website. A cookie is a small data file that a website can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received, or set up your browser to not accept cookies.

Farideh.com may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analyzed only at an aggregate level for marketing purposes.

How Does Farideh.com Use Your Information?

Farideh.com may use your name and email to contact you about your Program and to send you occasional business announcements and updates. Farideh.com uses your billing address to process your transaction.

Farideh.com uses first-party and third-party cookies to manage your shopping cart and to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so Farideh.com can optimize the Farideh.com and other affiliate websites and create a better user experience for you. Farideh.com may use cookies via Google Analytics Advertising Features, Facebook Advertising, and Pinterest Advertising, for remarketing, impression reporting, and interest reporting. How Do You Unsubscribe?

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can opt-out or unsubscribe by clicking on the link in any email Farideh.com sends to you. Note: if you opt-out of receiving the emails of a Program, it will be difficult for you to continue to participate and you may be unable to access information.

How Does Farideh.com Protect Your Information?

Farideh.com uses various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third party secure service Farideh.com uses to host your data will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. The third party services that Farideh.com currently uses are: PayPal (merchant provider), Stripe (merchant provider), Wishlist (membership program software for courses), ConvertKit (email list), Gmail suite (email and documents), 17hats (system management), and Asana (project management).

Farideh.com uses a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor to process any credit card payments, as described above. If your credit card number or expiration date is updated, your bank may update the payment processor automatically to process future payments; we do not have control over any such updates.

Farideh.com will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect Farideh.com’s legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent threats to others or illegal activities, or to prevent abuse of Farideh.com.

Circumstances may arise where Farideh.com may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize the business in Canada, the United States, or elsewhere, or where Farideh.com may decide to share, rent, buy, or sell business assets for reorganizing, developing, or expanding the business. It is Farideh.com’s policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. If the Farideh.com assets or the entire company is acquired, then the lists of personally identifiable information and other contact information will likely be one of the assets acquired.
