Many moons ago I wrote about My Favourite Tools for Launching. I tested out all the best launching tools and narrowed it down to my top picks so you didn’t have to. Flash forward to today where I have now rounded up my top tips and tools for an Evergreen Launch.  So strap on your boots because we’re about to sink right into my top recommendations.

Scarcity

Firstly let’s just do a quick hat tip to the evergreen launch. It will be your best friend when it comes to increasing your passive income as it means your course or service will always be for sale. However, it does have some specific requirements  that aren’t always easy to meet… AKA how do you build scarcity or a sense of urgency with a course that is always available?!

Let me fill you in.

Time

Adding special offers for a limited time (ie bundles or discounts) helps give motivation to buyers to actually click the buy button now as opposed to 3 months down the road.

ConvertKit

One key element of an evergreen launch is follow up e-mails.

You need to build a relationship with your clients and follow up with different sequences depending on what they buy or click on your site.

Think of it like this. Who is your fav barista? You know the one who always makes phenomenal lattes, knows your order and also checks in on how your day is going? Yeah that’s the one. You love getting your coffee from them because they’ve built that relationship with you over time. You feel like they put in the effort and they care to check in with how you’re doing.

Well, you are basically the barista of your launch.

If you want clients who will buy from you and keep coming back then you gotta have a sequence. – TWEET THIS

The sequence is a relationship builder. It lets your clients know that you care about their interests and are providing the information they need depending on the product or service that they want.  They are getting e-mails from you (but not in a spammy way) to remind them you’re there and that you do have something to offer.

Everwebinar

I use Everwebinar for a webinar that I constantly run. It runs a webinar like it’s live. So why go through the stress and hassle of recording webinar after webinar when you’d be covering the same subjects and material?

Automated webinars take one more thing off your plate so you can spend your time creating new content and working hard!! …or taking a nap…I mean whatever floats your boat.

I know automated webinars seem a bit weird– but it works and it’s awesome.

Facebook Ads

You all know that I love Facebook Ads. I’m a Facebook Ad nerd. Among the many reasons why I love them (and there are many) one of the main reasons is they keep new people coming into my sales funnel.

Are you thinking, that’s nice and all but I don’t know if I really need Facebook Ads… or I don’t want to get into that… the power editor is enough to drive me coo-coo-bananas!

That’s no prob. I now offer Facebook Ad management for free so you won’t even have to bat an eye to throw this in your evergreen launch toolbelt.

Buffer

Sometimes people need reminders. How are they going to keep buying your course if they forget it is even for sale!?

Research shows that people need to see the image of a brand several times (7 to be exact) before they will remember it and begin to trust it. So schedule your posts with an auto-scheduler like buffer so that you’re tweeting and posting throughout the day.

It’ll put promotion on auto-pilot while also making sure any potential buyers keep you and your service in mind.

Deadline funnel

The dead funnel isn’t something I use myself but plenty of my fabulous business partners in crime use it and love it. It allows you to give discounts and due dates that help contribute to a sense of urgency — encouraging your list to buy.

Other important launching tools

Many of the tools I use for launching are the same for an evergreen webinar. I encourage you to check out my original blog on my favourite tools for launching to read the others.

That’s my list of top tools for an Evergreen Launch. Did I miss something? Do you have questions about a particular platform? Let me know in the comments below.

  • Great post and I especially loved the story in your email about how you accidentally left a launch open and realised that people don’t want to learn on their time but on your time!
One quick thing though, I think you mean Deadline Funnel instead of Dead Funnel? 😉

Leah-circleI sold 10x over my goal and grew my list by 30% with Farideh on my launch team. There is no way I could have done that without her help. Launching is hard. Farideh is a life-saver and you need her.
